ShootProof Gallery Customization Updates: Phase Two

As you’ve already heard, your gallery customization experience is getting some major improvements. After 15 years of serving photographers like you, our foundational software needs some attention. Think of it like renovating a house: sometimes you’ve got to update the plumbing and electrical before you can add that dream kitchen.

While we’re strengthening the foundation, we’re also making some smaller visual changes that will support the bigger work moving forward. We’re doing the behind-the-scenes work now so we can build cooler stuff on a rock-solid foundation.

We launched our first phase of updates a few weeks ago, enabling you to design and customize your galleries with modern tools that respond instantly and preview your changes in real-time.

Our new architecture also lets us roll out new customization options and improvements quickly, because we’re excited to keep making your admin experience better!

For this next phase of updates, you’re getting more design elements to create the exact experience you envision for your clients.

What’s New in ShootProof’s Galleries?

As of September 22nd, 2025, we’ve added more customization to create galleries that feel authentically aligned with your photography style and enable you to build stronger brand recognition with consistent, distinctive gallery experiences.

What we added:

  • A diverse collection of 15 professionally designed intro pages to welcome your clients and set the perfect tone for each gallery.

  • 28 additional curated font options – from elegant serifs to modern sans-serifs to allow you to match your gallery’s personality to your brand with fonts that complement your work.
  • An intuitive new experience for your brand’s colors, fonts, and logos via the “Theme” section (formerly called “Brand”). This new, clean, and organized layout makes creating and managing your visual identity simple and visual.

  • We’ve evolved our terminology from “Color Sets” to “Themes” because your brand identity is about much more than just color. The new “Themes” better reflect what you can actually customize within each saved configuration to modify the logos, dark/light background, colors, and fonts.

“But wait, will anything change in my existing galleries?”

Nope! These updates are additional options in your gallery customization experience; we haven’t taken away any of the intro pages or fonts you’re already using. You’ll be able to choose from these new options the next time you create a gallery in ShootProof, or navigate to an existing gallery and update the intro page and font.
